LESSONS
You must have a CARD Benefits ID to receive the resident rate. IDs are free and are available at the CARD Activity Center, 10 Gateway Drive in Collinsville, IL. Call (618) 346-7529 to verify that you are located in-district.

Lessons have finished for a season. Spring lessons will be posted in late March.

Hook a Kid on Golf
This is a week-long program intended for boys and girls who have little or no experience. Each player is provided a new starter set of golf clubs that they can keep if they attend the full five-day clinic. The instructional clinic consists of four sessions lasting two hours each. The sessions include swing and short game fundamentals, and one day of on-course experience. In addition to the golf lessons, the children also experience special life skill presentations dealing with rules, etiquette, course maintenance, drug and alcohol awareness, staying in school, nutrition, and other helpful topics. Players must attend the entire clinic to receive the starter golf club set.

Couples Scramble
The last Friday of the month: August 26, September 30
This very popular Jack and Jill scramble includes nine holes of golf with dinner afterward. Prizes are awarded in each flight (three flights based on a full field). Tee time is 5:30 pm. $50 per couple. Call (618) 931-5232 to register.

Short Game Golf Clinic
So you can drive, but you’re useless near the cup. This clinic will work on developing your short game: putting, chipping and sand trap play. This clinic is for ages 16 and over.

Adult Golf Clinic
Designed for all levels of golf experience, the Adult Golf Clinic covers grip, stance, alignment, swing motion, fundamentals, iron play, wood play, chipping and pitching shots, putting and review. Bring your own clubs (some loaner clubs are available).

Junior Golf Clinic
This clinic is a great introduction to the game of golf. Specifically for ages 7-14, the clinic covers the basic fundamentals of swing, as well as short game and sand play.
The cost is $40 for residents of the Collinsville Area Recreation District; $50 for all general residents.

Senior Scramble
Every Tuesday morning (weather permitting)
For two-person teams of golfers who are 50 years old and over. The cost is $23 per person with a portion going toward prizes. Registration begins at 7 a.m., scramble starts at 9 a.m.
